Hi! Wow, where to begin? I can only really speak for myself, but what compelled me the most to come to MHC was the attention to a diverse student body and large (for a college in the US) international student population. I knew, as someone who has lived abroad and really values intercultural dialogue, that i wanted to be challenged outside the classroom as much as in it through relationships fostered with people from radically different backgrounds than i. There are so many facets to MHC that make me fall in love with it everyday; the fact that a Platform 9 and 3/4 sign hangs in the library as an “emergency exit,” having dinner with one of my favorite professors, riding my bike around campus when the leaves are changing, and the profound friendships i’ve formed. But really, you have to decide where you feel the most at home - i can sing the praises of MHC all day long, yet the decision ultimately rests with you! :) Have a beautiful day, and good luck with the college process!
